Bilfinger BergerSoldier Pile and Lagging

These are vertical columns (mostly steel H-beams) spaced at 2-3 m intervals with horizontal lagging from timber boards or concrete. The wide range of possible applications and the adaptability to local site conditions have resulted in a large number of different combinations employing various materials. To keep noise and vibrations to a minimum, or where driving is not allowed, columns may also be placed into pre-excavated boreholes.
