On April 14, 2009 the Foundation Engineering Branch became a GmbH (German limited company) and will now be run as a legally independent, wholly-owned subsidiary of Bilfinger Berger Ingenieurbau GmbH.
This divestment serves to improve Bilfinger Berger Spezialtiefbau GmbH`s capability to act and its competiteveness, and make it swifter to adjust to changing market conditions.
